The School of Communication, Media and Information (FGV Communication), in partnership with the Federal Attorney General's Office (AGU), will be holding the inaugural lecture of the MBA in Defense of Democracy and Digital Communication on March 11, from 6:30pm to 10pm, at FGV Brasília. The event will be open to the public and free of charge and will include the participation of authorities, specialists, teachers and students on the course, addressing the challenges of regulating digital platforms. The opening ceremony will be led by authorities such as the Federal Attorney General, Minister Jorge Messias; the Director General of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues.

About the course:

The MBA in Defense of Democracy and Digital Communication has been structured to train professionals in the face of digital changes and their impact on democratic governance. The course has a total workload of 432 hours, with classes taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7pm to 10pm. The program is divided into three modules: Defense of Democracy, Digital Communication and Management, and Data Culture, covering topics such as platform regulation, the political sociology of communication, social network analysis, artificial intelligence and algorithmic governance.
