FGV Energy has representative on ANP’s Special Acquisitions Committee
Felipe Gonçalves has been appointed a member of the Special Acquisitions Commission by the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) for the 14th Round of Acquisitions for Exploration Blocks.
The Education, Research & Development Superintendent of FGV Energy – Center for Energy Studies, Felipe Gonçalves, has been appointed a member of the Special Acquisitions Commission by the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) for the 14th Round of Acquisitions for Exploration Blocks, scheduled for October 27. The committee promotes and coordinates each acquisition process in its external phase.
The process has received some positive feedback from the industry, due to its higher attractiveness with new rules for local content commitments, which are now defined in contract clauses instead of being adopted as bidding judgment criteria.
A total of 287 blocks will be offered in the sea sedimentary basins of Sergipe-Alagoas, Espírito Santo, Campos (RJ), Santos (SP), and Pelotas (RS), as well as the land basins of Parnaíba (PI), Paraná, Potiguar (RN), Recôncavo (BA), Sergipe-Alagoas, and Espírito Santo, amounting to an area of approximately 122,600 square kilometers.
