FGV Energy welcomes Cepel director for lecture on changes in the electricity industry
The lecturer will share how Cepel sees the opportunities and challenges of the electricity industry amid the changes currently underway in the energy sector.
FGV Energy – Center for Energy Studies will hold a new edition of Energy in Focus on June 1, at 6 p.m., at the auditorium of FGV’s main office in Rio de Janeiro. The theme of the lecture will be ‘Changes in the electricity industry seen from a Research Center in Brazil,’ presented by the General Director of the Center for Electrical Energy Research (Cepel), Marcio Szechtman.
Speaking to professionals, researchers, and students interested in the power industry, the lecturer will share how Cepel sees the opportunities and challenges of the electricity industry amid the changes currently underway in the energy sector.
Since 2014, FGV Energy has been hosting a series of lectures with senior management professionals from the energy industry, providing a global outlook of the sector to discuss the political, economic, and technological challenges for its development in Brazil.
