FGV launches selection process for external transfers and diploma holders
There are 95 vacancies for the first half of 2021 at schools in Rio de Janeiro and the deadline for applications is November 19

Fundação Getulio Vargas is now accepting applications for a selection process – through external transfers and for diploma holders – to fill remaining vacancies on its undergraduate courses. Candidates can choose from the following courses: Administration; Data Science and Artificial Intelligence; Economics; Social Sciences; Law; and Applied Mathematics.
Candidates who are regularly enrolled in a higher education course authorized by the Education Ministry, or who have temporarily suspended their enrollment, are eligible to participate in the process, through external transfer. People who have a higher education diploma recognized by the Education Ministry may also apply. Both possibilities are also open to non-Brazilians, provided that their university course is recognized by the Brazilian consulate in the country of origin, in accordance with prevailing legislation, in the same area or a related one.
Candidates must prove that they have completed at least one academic period at their home institution and obtained at least 75% of the credits on offer. For the Law School, the subjects successfully completed and their relevance to the course curriculum will be analyzed. Candidates who have participated in admission processes via the external transfer or diploma holder route in the past two years may not apply for admission to the school.
FGV also offers different types of scholarships. Complete information can be found in the selection process announcement. Those interested must register on the respective school’s website and pay a fee of R$150. The registration period ends on November 19 and classes start on February 1.
