FGV opens registrations for the 2nd edition of the Social Responsibility Award
Civil society organizations have until April 11 to complete the form for the new call for proposals.

The Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), supported by Globo and Aegea, is launching the second edition of the FGV Social Responsibility Award. This initiative aims to select best practices aimed at improving the quality of life for socially vulnerable individuals and populations. New thematic axes were added to qualify the practices: education; arts and culture; community sports; health; environment and sanitation; and culture and peace. Registration is free and will remain open until 11:59 PM on April 11, 2025.
The award is an initiative of FGV’s Permanent Forum on Social Responsibility, which seeks to identify and promote social actions aimed at social and sustainable development through cash prizes and honorable mentions.
Non-profit civil society organizations can submit practices already implemented within these thematic axes. Three winning practices will be selected, ranked first, second, and third, with the following prizes: R$ 50,000 for first place; R$ 30,000 for second place; and R$ 20,000 for third place.
In the evaluation stages, proposals that meet aspects such as impact and job and income generation; replicability; innovation; and diversity and equity will be considered. Winners will be selected according to these criteria by the Evaluation Committee and the Council.
Additionally, a practice representing efforts to improve the quality of life of socially vulnerable populations may be recognized as the Best Social Responsibility Practice, though it will not receive a financial reward.
Interested civil society organizations may register as many practices as they wish, but only one proposal per entity can be selected and awarded.
