Free Courses: FGV Offers More Than 200 Online Programs in 2025
Among the new features are programs with content focused on artificial intelligence and sustainability.

The Getulio Vargas Foundation is providing various options for free online courses for those looking to expand their knowledge and update their resumes at the beginning of 2025.
There are over 200 courses in 10 areas of knowledge: Public Administration; Law; Economics and Finance; Education and Humanities; Strategy and Business; Management of Specific Sectors; Leadership and People; Marketing and Sales; International Relations; and Technology and Data Science.
The program is self-instructional and offers materials produced with the same quality used in the Foundation's Schools and Institutes.

In 2025, the highlights are courses focused on Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability, Bidding, and Sales. Check out the highlights:
- Generative AI in Classes: Using the Resource to Our Advantage (1h/a)
This course aims to empower students to integrate AI into their educational practices, promoting critical and collaborative skills essential for contemporary teaching.
- AI as a Learning and Research Tool (24h/a)
This course provides a comprehensive overview of AI, with a special focus on its application as a learning and research tool, preparing students to navigate and take advantage of the opportunities this revolutionary technology offers.
- Generative AI and ChatGPT: Enhancing Work and Gaining Efficiency (1h/a)
This course discusses the use of AI tools for analyzing educational data to creating interactive learning experiences.
- Challenges for Sustainable Development (8h/a)
This course presents the major challenges for sustainable development. It details the 2030 Agenda, which consists of a plan of action for uniting the interests of people and the planet, thereby achieving prosperity for all and universal peace.
- General Aspects of Bidding and Contracts (8h/a)
This course focuses on the regulations related to public contracts. It begins with the study of relevant constitutional norms and analyzes the structure of legislation regarding bidding and administrative contracts, including the study of applicable principles.
- Sales Management: Initial Concepts (9h/a)
This course addresses the relationship between sales and topics such as organizational and marketing objectives. It then focuses on the main strategies and tools, concluding with a discussion on organizational and sales culture.
Certificate
All courses offer a completion certificate and are conducted in partnership with OEG – Open Education Global. Since 2008, FGV has been the first Brazilian educational institution to join the consortium of countries offering free online educational content and materials. In total, there are over 17 million enrollments and 99% satisfaction with the completed courses.
Top Course in 2024
Last year, the course with the highest number of enrollments was "Self-Knowledge: The Basis for Emotional Intelligence." With a duration of five hours, the course covers the main theories on emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-knowledge. Over 100,000 people have completed this course.
