Fuel market is subject of online event

The fuel market will be the topic of FGV Energy’s next webinar, on July 19, at 6 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the sector’s short-term prospects and transformations taking place in Brazil as the market opens up and new players are attracted. The sector’s regulatory framework will also be discussed. The event will be broadcast live on FGV’s YouTube channel.

The speakers will be Brazilian Petroleum Institute board member Anelise Lara; Heloisa Borges, the director of oil, gas and biofuel studies at EPE; Marcelo Araújo, the CEO of Ipiranga; and Wilson Ferreira Jr., the CEO of BR Distribuidora. They will discuss their expectations regarding the recovery of demand, the pandemic’s effects on Brazil’s refineries and consequences for the distribution of fuel products and prices paid by motorists. The moderator will be Fernanda Delgado, a strategic advisor and researcher at FGV Energy.
