The International Relations Center dedicates week to studies on Europe

On Wednesday, May 9, the International Relations Center carried out the Europe Day Conference on the subject ?Perspectives for the Future of the European Union?. Made in a partnership with Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the conference was comprised of panels and roundtables that addressed the current crisis in the block and the future of the European integration, besides new agendas on European studies. Experts from FGV, the Government, as well as Brazilian, North-American, and European universities attended the event, which took place during the entire day at FGV headquarters.Until Friday, May 11, the International Relations Center carried out the 2012 School on the European Union, with lectures and seminars that addressed several aspects of the European integration for undergraduate students and young professionals. As for the Workshop on European Union Research, which took place on Thursday, was directed to Master's and Doctoral students and made it possible the exchange of ideas among renowned academics and Master's students interested in presenting their works for discussion. The workshop followed the European Commission's model PhD School.
