International seminar unites experts to discuss policies, incentives, and regulation of smart grids

FGV Energy researcher Felipe Gonçalves will be one of the lecturers at the ‘International Seminar on Policies, Incentives and Regulation of Smart Grids’. The event, organized by the Brazilian National Committee of Production and Transmission of Electricity (Cigré-Brasil), will be held on December 4-7, in Rio de Janeiro.
During the international seminar, experts will speak based on their experiences in the job market and on relevant topics for the industry. The event is divided into six sessions, with the presentation of eight papers in each one.
In addition to Felipe Gonçalves, the event will feature other experts and authorities from the energy sector as keynote speakers, such as Rodney Hughes, from Australia, André Pepitone, Director of the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Aneel), and Chris King, from the United States. Canadian Dennis Holsteisn, consultant and CEO of OPUS Consulting Group, will offer a short course on cyber security, on December 7.
