Metaverse’s applications and new possibilities are focus of online event
The webinar will be the first in a series of debates to explore the Metaverse and its many possibilities, as well as explaining what this augmented reality virtual environment is and how it works.
Fundação Getulio Vargas’ School of Communication, Media and Information (FGV ECMI), in partnership with Meta, is holding a webinar about the Metaverse’s concept and applications. The public event will take place on January 27, at 2 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel.
The webinar will be the first in a series of debates to explore the Metaverse and its many possibilities, as well as explaining what this augmented reality virtual environment is and how it works. The aim is to prepare the audience for discussions that can generate exchanges capable of developing inclusive and rich environments of experiences in the Metaverse.
The moderator will be Professor Alessandra Maia of FGV ECMI. The guest debaters will be Rafael Zanatta, director of the Brazilian Data Privacy Research Association; Thiago Toshio, an immersive content producer; and Erick Martins, Meta’s strategic partnerships manager.
