Online event debates onshore oil and gas market regulation
The event, part of the CARO Project, will feature representatives of the Economy Ministry, ABPIP and Plataforma EnergyC
On Friday, August 14, FGV Energy will launch the “CARO Project – Simplification and Proportionality in the Regulation of Onshore Operations.” The aim is to simplify and loosen the regulatory framework governing onshore oil and gas field operations. The event will be broadcast live on FGV’s YouTube channel, starting at 6 pm.
Brazil is going through a major period of transition in the onshore sector. As the dominant operator leaves, we are seeing the market gain new players, generating plurality, diversity and dynamism.
To help this situation materialize more quickly and effectively, ensuring the entry of new companies and investments in the sector, existing regulations must be adjusted. The consequences of this will be better use of available natural resources and an increased supply of jobs and income for the population.
To debate efficient solutions for this challenge, FGV Energy has invited Kelvia Albuquerque of the Economy Ministry, Anabal Junior of the Brazilian Association of Independent Oil and Gas Producers (ABPIP) and Kelly Angelim of Plataforma EnergyC.
