Online meeting talks about regional energy integration

The Center for Regulation and Infrastructure Studies (FGV CERI) is holding a webinar called “Regional Energy Integration.” This public event will take place on March 15, at 3 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel.
Latin America is well endorsed with energy resources, particularly renewable ones. Furthermore, the federal government has emphasized the need for regional energy integration. Accordingly, this meeting will discuss how to take advantage of the market’s huge growth potential and generate value on the decarbonization path.
The webinar will be moderated be FGV CERI’s director, Joisa Dutra. The speakers will be Eletrobras’ generation director, Pedro Jatobá; the president of the Brazilian Association for Wind Power and New Technologies, Elbia Gannoum; and Ricardo Gorini, senior program officer for Renewable Energy Roadmaps at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
