Petrobras’ CEO attends lunch to discuss Brazilian oil and gas market
The event will bring together representatives of Brazil’s leading oil and gas companies to promote a positive agenda for the sector.
On September 30, FGV Energy will host a lunch featuring Petrobras’ CEO, General Joaquim Silva e Luna, and Professor Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, FGV’s president. The event will bring together representatives of Brazil’s leading oil and gas companies to promote a positive agenda for the sector.
The lunch will also be attended by representatives of the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), Chevron, the Brazilian government’s Energy Research Company (EPE), Equinor, Ipiranga, Shell, Total and Vibra.
At the meeting, the participants will discuss the recent increase in international energy prices, the sector’s decarbonizing trends and oil companies’ stance in relation to their investments in Brazil.
The event will take place at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ main office, in line with health rules established by the World Health Organization and municipal government of Rio de Janeiro, including social distancing recommendations.
