President of Petrobras participates in debate at FGV
Pedro Parente has a degree in Engineering from University of Brasilia (UnB) and built his career at Banco do Brasil and the Central Bank of Brazil, in addition to working as an external consultant for the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
FGV Energy will host a debate with the President of Petrobras, Pedro Parente, in another edition of the series of lectures Energy in Focus – Strategy and Challenges for the Future, on August 1. During the meeting, the President of Petrobras will present his view on the oil and gas industry, highlighting the challenges that the company foresees in Brazil moving forward.

Since 2014, FGV Energy has been hosting the series of lectures Energy in Focus featuring senior management professionals from the energy industry. The goal is to discuss the political, economic, and technological challenges for the industry’s development in Brazil.
