Publication on Brazilian Oil and Gas sector development to be released in Rio
FGV Energy will launch the Journal of Industrial Metrics for the Development of the Brazilian Oil and Gas Sector, on April 24.

On Tuesday, April 24, at 9 a.m., FGV Energy will launch the Journal of Industrial Metrics for the Development of the Brazilian Oil and Gas Sector, at FGV’s main office in Rio de Janeiro. This edition was written by researchers Baiena Feijolo, Eduardo Santiago Rossetti, Felipe Gonçalves, Fernanda Delgado, João Augusto Pereira Batista, Júlia Febraro França Gomes da Silva, Magda Maria de Regina Chambriard, Maria Alice de Gusmão Veloso, Mauricio Canêdo Pinheiro and Pedro Henrique Gonçalves Neves.
The publication is the result of a partnership with FGV Projetos and includes an analysis of public policy performance in the sector, seeking to clarify the area’s main gaps, providing information that will develop a clear vision, collaborating to identify actions that maximize the national oil potential.
The booklet, which is the result of research performed in a joint effort by different FGV units, emphasizes points based on industrial policy, case studies, industry metrics and industrial policy in the Brazilian Oil & Gas sector. It also raises questions of an economic regulatory and market order, displaying results that provide an analysis of public policy performance.
