Seminar discusses fuel pricing policy in Brazil
The event will bring together professionals from regulatory agencies, fuel distributors, agribusiness representatives and oil industry experts to discuss and propose alternatives for fuel pricing.
The truck drivers’ strike caused a supply shock on the economy and the government’s reaction resulted in distortions that negatively affect productivity and ultimately took a toll on economic growth. To discuss the issue, FGV Growth & Development will host the seminar titled “Fuel Pricing” on August 31, starting at 8:30 a.m. The event will be sponsored by Plural and held at FGV’s Cultural Center (Praia de Botafogo, 186. Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro/RJ).
The event will bring together professionals from regulatory agencies, fuel distributors, agribusiness representatives and oil industry experts to discuss and propose alternatives for fuel pricing.
The President of FGV, professor Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, and the President of Plural, Leonardo Gadotti, will lead the opening ceremony. The experts will be divided into two panels to address the issue, moderated by the Director of FGV Growth & Development, Roberto Castello Branco.
