Specialists discuss legal and regulatory aspects of Brazilian Electricity Code
The Brazilian Electricity Code is intended to rationalize and update the sector’s legislation and support its modernization, amid technological innovation, new consumption patterns and the rational use of energy sources.
On September 23, FGV Energy will hold a webinar called “The Brazilian Electricity Code and Power Sector Modernization.” The event, to be broadcast live on FGV’s YouTube channel, starting at 6 pm, will present the Brazilian Electricity Code’s preliminary design and explore and discuss key topics related to the subject.
The Brazilian Electricity Code is intended to rationalize and update the sector’s legislation and support its modernization, amid technological innovation, new consumption patterns and the rational use of energy sources.
The speakers will be Anna Paula Pacheco (ENEL’s regulation director), Marina Meyer Falcão (ABGD’s legal director), Lafayette de Andrada (federal representative and rapporteur for the Brazilian Electricity Code Bill) and Rodrigo Limp (the Mining and Energy Ministry’s energy secretary). The event will be moderated by FGV Energy legal consultant Gustavo de Marchi.
