Vestibular (Entrance Examination): Public Administration course opens first undergraduate course in Brasilia
FGV brings to Brasilia a program that combines quality and academic excellence with an innovative teaching proposal, which enables the enhancement of learning and the experience in the issues faced by the three branches of the Republic.

FGV’s undergraduate course in Public Administration has the clear purpose of making Brazil and the world fairer based on good management and public policies. The program, which is already traditional in Sao Paulo, now comes to Brasilia with the aim of training elite professionals to think about the country's future and occupy strategic positions in organizations of the Public Sector, proposing innovative solutions to national problems. The arrival of the program in Brasilia is of the innovations of the FGV Entrance Examination, which started on Monday, July 1, for the 2020 selection process.
The course is offered in Brasília by FGV’s School of Public Policy and Government (EPPG), based on a strategic partnership with FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP), which ensures an alignment between curricula and teaching methodologies in both cities. Thus, FGV brings to Brasilia a program that combines quality and academic excellence with an innovative teaching proposal, which enables the enhancement of learning and the experience in the issues faced by the three branches of the Republic. The location in Brazil’s capital places the students in contact with the main international organizations, in addition to the embassies of all countries with diplomatic representation in Brazil.
“The degree in Public Administration privileges adherence to the practice of the public sector and the search for excellence through the study of the most advanced theories and concepts in national and international literature. Students will be prepared to have a broad understanding of the country’s reality, integrating concepts of Public Administration with those of several other fields of knowledge, so that they become capable of having a positive impact on society. Throughout the course, the undergraduate students will develop analytical skills and use of management tools in organizations, whether at the public or private level. Thus, they will be able to take on a leading role in public sector organizations, NGOs, consulting firms, international organizations, foundations and private enterprises,” emphasized Tássia de Souza Cruz, coordinator of the course.
