Webinar looks at Brazilian energy industry at COP26

There are just a few days to go until the COP26 climate summit. The pandemic, economic recession and global energy crisis have resulted in a completely new context for everyone. Accordingly, FGV Energy will hold a webinar called “Energy in Focus: The Brazilian Energy Industry at COP26” on October 25, at 6 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel. This will be the latest event in its Energy in Focus series.
What national issues related to energy and the energy transition do different representatives of society, academia and government expect will be debated in Glasgow? These and other subjects will be addressed at the webinar.
The speakers will be Agnes da Costa, the chief advisor on regulatory issues at Brazil’s Mining and Energy Ministry; Elbia Gannoum, the CEO of Abeeolica; Guarany Ipê do Sol, the coordinator of the Politics and Environmental Economics Program at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Center for Sustainability Studies (FGVCes); and Marina GrossI, the chairwoman of the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS). The moderator will be Fernanda Delgado, a professor and strategic advisor at FGV Energy.
