Committee convenes experts to discuss regulation in the telecommunications sector
The initiative proposes a neutral environment for technical dialogue and knowledge production on sectoral regulation.

FGV Rio Law has established the Telecommunications Regulation Committee with the goal of creating a neutral and intellectually productive space for discussing emerging issues, promoting best practices, and contributing to the sector's development.
The committee will host technical meetings, seminars, debates, interviews, and research, sharing information among relevant industry stakeholders. The coordination is by Jaques Horn (Schmidt Valois Miranda Ferreira Agel Advogados) and the group includes representatives from companies, law firms, public agencies, and sector experts.
Committee members include: Mauricio Urti (Oceanica), Mario Girasole (Tim), Julio Barreto (Chediak e Cristofaro Advogados), Elinor Cotait (Veirano Advogados), David Rechulski (Rechulski Advogados), Ana Paula Barcellos de Sá (Huawei), Juliano Stanzani (Ministry of Communications), and other prominent figures.
This initiative is part of the "Regulation in Numbers" project, created in 2017, which already includes committees in infrastructure, energy, transportation, and insurance sectors. The committees aim to integrate academia, market, and state in activities like seminars, research, publications, and sectoral debates.
These actions are integrated with the undergraduate course and the postgraduate program stricto sensu in Regulatory Law. Committees for Mining Regulation and Sanitary Surveillance are also in the planning stages.
