Meeting discusses how to promote an inclusive, democratic and effective state in Brazil
The event is organized by the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE) and will feature the participation of Dr. Francisco Gaetani.

On February 20, 2025, the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE) will host an event to discuss the ways to build a more inclusive, democratic and effective state in Brazil. The meeting will be held in Auditorium 006 at FGV EBAPE, from 2pm to 4pm.
The highlight of the event will be the participation of Dr. Francisco Gaetani, Extraordinary Secretary for the Transformation of the State at the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) and Extra-Career Professor at FGV EBAPE. Gaetani will present the strategic document “An inclusive, democratic and effective state at the service of the Brazilian population”, recently published by the MGI. The material aims to stimulate debate on the changes needed in the Federal Public Administration to strengthen governance and improve the services provided to the population.
In addition to Dr. Gaetani's presentation, members of the FGV EBAPE faculty will contribute brief comments on specific aspects of the document, promoting an in-depth and thought-provoking academic discussion on the subject.
The event will be free and open to the public, with no prior registration required.
With this initiative, FGV EBAPE reaffirms its commitment to the academic and political debate on the modernization of the Brazilian Public Administration, offering a space for reflection and exchange of ideas on the future of the public sector in the country.
