DIREITO GV offers corporate governance program in the U.S.

Erica Gorga, capital markets and corporate governance professor of DIREITO GV, spends one season at the Vanderbilt Law School, where she teaches an autumn course on compared corporate governance. The program will bring students to an updated discussion on the main points of divergence and convergence of corporate governance practices in different economic and legal regulatory systems of many countries. According to Erica Gorga, one of the goals of the program is to broaden the perspectives of theoretical approaches in the literature on the subject. Although the course has a focus on comparative methodology, it is obviously not productive to cover specific aspects of corporate governance systems of different countries. In order to deal with this contrast, we restrict ourselves to the study of the major models, she explains.
