FGV carries out, in November of this year, the workshop International sports and business: the soft power of the nations and the impact on the mega events, which takes place during the Soccerex Global Convention. The event will provide an analysis of the legacy, successful results and failures of the mega events like the Olympic Games in Barcelona, Atlanta, Athens, the current experience in London and the Brazilian soccer potentialities in terms of Brazil's international relations.
 

The workshop will be attended by the Minister Vera Cíntia Alvarez, chief of the General Coordination of Exchange Program and Sports Cooperation (CGCE), the executive director of FGV Online, Stavros Xanthopoylos, the executive director of Operations and Competition of the Local Organizing Committee (COL) of 2014 World Cup, the National Secretary of Football Luís Antônio Paulino, besides the Minister of Sports Aldo Rebelo.

The workshop International sports and business: the soft power of the nations and the impact on the mega events will take place on November 24 through 28 at Forte de Copacabana (Copacabana Fortress).
