FGV forms partnership with business school in Berlin

Collaboration with European universities is one of the key missions for the Learning Hub initiative, undertaken by FGV Europe and the FGV Rio de Janeiro Law School. In this context, FGV recently signed a memorandum of understanding for collaboration with BSP Business & Law School in Berlin. This is an important milestone in the Learning Hub’s efforts to promote collaboration between Brazilian and European academic institutions.

The idea is that this agreement will benefit FGV as a whole. The partnership is supported by FGV Europe and the FGV Rio de Janeiro Law School.

The memorandum of understanding was signed following a visit to Berlin by FGV Europe in February 2024. Cesar Cunha Campos, the director of FGV Europe, was accompanied on the trip by Antonio Maristrello Porto, the vice dean of the FGV Rio de Janeiro Law School.

The memorandum of understanding with BSP Business & Law School in Berlin aims to promote international collaboration in education and academic research in FGV’s different fields of activity, involving all its schools, centers and units. The agreement will encourage opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to study abroad, visits by faculty members and administrative employees, the exchange of knowledge, and the holding of joint seminars and conferences, among other learning initiatives. More broadly, it seeks to facilitate matchmaking efforts between all the research centers at FGV and BSP Business & Law School.

Through joint academic events and other forms of collaboration, the two institutions will actively contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and research between Brazil and Europe.
