FGV holds the international conference Portugal - Brazil: a current outlook

FGV held on September 12 and 13, the conference Portugal - Brazil: a current outlook in partnership with the Lisbon University Institute (ISCTE) and the House of Latin America (CAL). The conference took place in ISCTE's own headquarters, in Lisbon, with the goal of analyzing the present and the future of the economic, political and cultural ties between the two countries, and encouraging mutual knowledge and the discovery of cooperation opportunities.
 

The following represented FGV: the directors Joaquim Falcão (DIREITO RIO), Antonio Freitas (Integração Acadêmica), Bianor Cavalcanti (DINT), Ricardo Simonsen (Technical Director of FGV Projects), besides the coordinators Carlos Eduardo Sarmento, from the School of Social Sciences and History (CPDOC's graduation course), and Marcus Vinicius Rodrigues, of the Global Executive MBA program, (ISCTE-FGV).
 

Also present were the President of the House of Latin America and the City Council of Lisbon, Antonio Costa, and the former presidents Mário Soares (Portugal) and Fernando Henrique Cardoso - who received from ISCTE's dean, Luis Reto, the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by the institution.
