FGV's International Relations Center welcomes the Foreign Affairs Minister to debate the future of humanitarian intervention
The Center for International Relations at FGV, based in the CPDOC, received the visit of the Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota for a workshop about the future of humanitarian interventions and the concept of Responsibility to Protect.
The former Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gareth Evans, the professor of the University of Oxford, Jennifer Welsh, the Indian ambassador, Hardeep Puri, the representative of South Africa in the United Nations, Doc Mashabane, and the Brazilian Ambassador José Antônio Brito Cruz also attended the event.
The event was organized in partnership with the Global Center for the Responsibility to Protect, from New York, and the Stanley Foundation.
