The Center for Infrastructure and Environmental Solutions Studies (FGVceisa) at the School of Business Administration of São Paulo (FGV EAESP) is hosting an event on "Tax Reform: Historic Milestone and Implementation in the Coming Years." The event will take place on February 23rd at 10 am in the FGV 9 de Julho Noble Hall.
Tax reform is an essential agenda for the country's economic development, and understanding its implications is crucial for entrepreneurs, academics, and other interested parties. The event will feature the special participation of economist and Extraordinary Secretary of Tax Reform, Bernard Appy.
The proposal enacted by the National Congress simplifies the current confusing and inefficient tax system. In this context, Bernard Appy's discussion will provide an in-depth view of the guidelines for the private sector in the face of the proposed changes in the reform, detailing the main points of the approved text, for which the economist is the proposal's mentor currently under consideration in Congress.
The moderation will be conducted by Gesner Oliveira, coordinator of the Center for Infrastructure and Environmental Solutions Studies at FGV. As a speaker, Bernard Appy, Extraordinary Secretary of Tax Reform, will be present.
