?I Diálogos Business and Design? brings HP's design manager to Fundação Getulio Vargas
On July 25, the FGV Management carried out the ?I Diálogos Business and Design?, in a partnership with the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), an extended idea of the original ?Diálogos, Cultura e Inovação? (?Dialogues, Culture and Innovation?) that took place in 2010.
On this first edition of the event, the coordinator of the FGV's Cultural Production Management MBA course, Claudio D?Ipollito, welcomed the international expert in Management Design Jordi Morillo ? design manager at HP's High-end Platform Group ? in order to address how to align the design's role to the challenges of business.
In the expository sessions, Morillo spoke about the foundations of Design Management, the role of design strategic planning, and how to propose concepts and prototypes, build an effective briefing and test the work proposed from its own experiences at HP and other initiatives in Spain. It was almost two hours of debate with the attendants.
The design manager also thanked FGV for the cooperation and execution of the event and announced that the partnership between FGV and IED will soon be made official. ?I would like to thank FGV for opening reciprocal doors to two different worlds: Design and Business?.
The ?I Diálogos Business and Design? took place from 7pm to 10pm, at the 12th floor's auditorium at FGV headquarters.
