Seminar focuses on prospects and trends for 2022 presidential election
As the 2022 presidential election draws near, this webinar will discuss trends in the latest opinion polls, the possible results, prospects for the winning candidate and the likely consequences for Brazil.

Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Economics (FGV EESP) is holding a webinar called “The 2022 Presidential Election: What Is at Stake?” The event will take place on August 30, at 7 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel.
As the 2022 presidential election draws near, this webinar will discuss trends in the latest opinion polls, the possible results, prospects for the winning candidate and the likely consequences for Brazil. The event will look at aspects such as the different contenders’ proposals, their chances of winning, the voting process and what is really at stake.
There will be talks by Felipe Nunes, the director of polling firm Quaest Pesquisa e Consultoria; Rafael Cortez, managing partner of consulting firm Tendências Consultoria Integrada; and Victor Araújo, who has a doctorate in politics from the University of Sao Paulo and University of Zurich. The moderator will be Fernando Limongi, a political scientist and professor at FGV EESP and the University of Sao Paulo.
