On December 10, the FGV Center for Ethics, Transparency, Integrity and Compliance Studies (FGVethics) was publicly recognized by the House of Representatives in Brasilia for its anti-corruption work, during a ceremony presided over by federal representative Adriana Ventura.
FGVethics was honored for the work it has done to promote integrity, transparency and the fight against corruption in Brazil through research and the production of knowledge.
According to the center’s coordinator, Professor Ligia Maura Costa, this tribute attests to the center’s mission in pursuit of a more ethical world. “Corruption corrodes the foundations of our society, and at FGVethics we believe that education and ethics are fundamental to building a fairer and more upright Brazil. This recognition reinforces our commitment to continue to work for ethics and transparency,” she said.
During the session, other institutions were also recognized, such as the Brazilian Corporate Governance Institute, the I Don’t Accept Corruption Institute and the Health Ethics Institute.
