Mastertalk discusses the global economic landscape in the Trump era
The Graduate Programs in Finance, Economics, and Applied Data Science at FGV EESP will host an online debate on April 14 at 6 PM about the global economy in the Trump era.

The world's leading economy, the United States, is under new administration with Donald Trump's return. This brings several economic measures that could change the rules of the game in international trade and investments. The event will feature discussions on the potential impacts of the economic measures announced by Trump and on the global economy, especially Brazil’s, led by one of Brazil's most renowned economists, who has extensive experience in analyzing global scenarios.

Otaviano Canuto, senior fellow at the Policy Center for the New South and nonresident senior fellow at The Brookings Institution. He was Vice President of the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, and former Executive Director at the IMF and World Bank. He served as Secretary for International Affairs at the Ministry of Finance.
