Minister presents strategic logistical integration project in South America at event at FGV

The Professional Master's and Doctorate program in Public Management and Policy at FGV EAESP welcomed the Minister of Planning and Budget, Simone Tebet, on Tuesday, for a lecture on the Rotas de Integração Sul-Americana (South American Integration Routes) project. The meeting provided the academic community with a strategic analysis of logistical infrastructure and regional integration in the current geopolitical scenario.
During her speech, the minister highlighted the potential of the Rotas da América do Sul (South American Routes) project, aimed at transporting Brazilian production to the Asian market, using logistical corridors that cross the continent to the ports of Chile and Peru. According to Tebet, it is a joint initiative that can transform the continent's position in global value chains.
"The South American Integration Routes have the transformative potential that only a significant public policy has: they are initiatives throughout the country that will generate jobs, increase income, and create new business opportunities,” stated the minister.
The lecture directly dialogued with the academic program's objectives, addressing structural public policies with a direct impact on the economy, quality of life, tourism, and food security. The minister's visit reinforces the course's commitment to training public leaders focused on concrete and innovative solutions for the development of the country and the region.
